Mr. Monteith brings capabilities from a broad range of management disciplines that include marketing, manufacturing, technology transfer, technology licensing, new product development, patent management and litigation, corporate development, international business and strategic planning. Prof. Xianshe Feng
Dr. Xianshe Feng is the original inventor of the olefin-paraffin membrane technology. Dr. Feng is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He is one of the world’s preeminent membrane experts and researchers. Prior to joining the University of Waterloo, Dr. Feng was a researcher at the Alberta Research Council in the field of membrane technology. He holds several patents and has been widely published in the membrane field in conference papers, journal publications and technical reports. He is a scientific reviewer for several membrane and separation process journals. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Mike Brandt, C.A. - Chief Financial Officer, Monteco Ltd.
A proficient and experienced financial business leader and coach, Mike Brandt possesses a successful track record of delivering strategic business direction, operational efficiency and business performance solutions to progressive organizations through his leadership roles at Loews Cineplex and Thomas Cook Financial Group and as a partner at KPMG. His expertise ensures companies thrive by providing customer solutions, business process re-engineering solutions and superior financial and risk management. As the Chief Financial Officer of Monteco, Mr. Brandt provides strategic and financial leadership facilitating accelerated growth, operational re-positioning, risk and business management and business and financial performance management.

Harold Storie
Harold Storie brings extensive petrochemical industry experience to the Imtex Membranes Corp. advisory board. Mr. Storie’s career at Imperial Oil spanned 36 years, including 30 years in chemicals and 25 years in olefins specifically. His experience includes management of the Basic Chemicals business, Sales and Supply Management for Olefins and operating Plant Management, including new plant startup and membrane technology integration. Now retired, Harold continues to assist Imperial Oil on a contract basis and has been a contractor for SNC Lavelin on a refinery relocation project. Mr. Storie received his chemical engineering degree from Queen’s University and his Masters of Business Management from the University of Waterloo.

Rafael Simon, PhD
Dr. Rafael Simon brings extensive technology and operations experience to the Imtex Membranes Corp. advisory board. Dr. Simon served as COO of Zenon Environmental Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of membrane based water and wastewater treatment technologies. During his five year tenure Zenon achieved a 300% increase in its share value culminating in Zenon’s acquisition by General Electric in 2006. He was also selected in 2004 as Canada’s top COO by Canadian Business Magazine. Prior to joining Zenon, Dr. Simon was a consultant for McKinsey and Co. where he specialized in corporate level growth strategies in the environmental and energy sectors. Dr. Simon has been involved in a variety of business and investment interests since the acquisition of Zenon by GE. He received his PhD in Materials Science and Minerals Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
