Imtex Membranes Corp. and its related companies Imtex Membranes US Corporation; Imtex International SEZC Ltd.; and Imtex International (Malta) Ltd. (collectively "Imtex") are committed to protecting your personal information. Imtex' Internet Privacy Policy is based on the internationally recognized fair information practices set forth in Canada’s Protection of Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act.

The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to inform you about the types of Personal Information Imtex collects about individuals. It explains how Imtex uses and discloses that information, the choices such individual's have regarding such use and disclosure, and how individuals may correct that information.

Personal Information is any information that is identifiable with you. This information may include but is not limited to your name, mailing address, phone numbers, email address, identification numbers, credit card numbers, banking information, and creditor information. Personal Information, however, does not include your name, business title or business address and business telephone number in your capacity as an employee of an organization.

On certain limited occasions, Imtex may collect personal information (e.g. personal information of individuals who apply for employment with us) and on such occasions, Imtex will always collect your Personal Information by fair and lawful means and will obtain your consent to do so or as otherwise permitted by law.

Imtex only collects personal information about you if you supply it voluntarily, through contacting Imtex via e-mail or on-line registration 

  • Imtex collects personal information about you if it is required to provide you with a service you have requested. 
  • Imtex may use software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has contacted our web site for the purposes of gathering website usage statistics only. Imtex makes no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site. 
  • Imtex may use "cookies" in special areas of our site that require login or registration. These cookies are used only for the purposes of verifying your login information. 

Imtex does not use cookies to track how our visitors use the site. Collection of any further personal information other than that for reasons outlined above will only occur with your consent.

Personal information you supply is not disclosed to anyone except Imtex employees who require said information to complete an indicated function. Imtex will use, disclose or retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as permitted or required by law. Imtex has established minimum and maximum retention periods and procedures for maintaining and destroying your Personal Information.

If you successfully demonstrate that the Personal Information Imtex has on you is inaccurate or incomplete, we will amend the Personal Information as required.
